Parish Life

St. Anne Sodality

The Ladies club provides fellowship to the women of the parish.  We meet the first Wednesday of the month.  It is an enjoyable evening with friends.  We have speakers on a variety of topics and work on a few projects and end the meeting with delicious refreshments.  The Ladies Club provides service to the parish and donate some of their proceeds to help other ministry services when needed.  They are always willing to help and definitely an organization that makes and impact on our Church and Community.

Men’s Club

The Men’s Club is a social group for men of the parish to bond together for a meeting and evening of fun.  The meeting is held on the first Tuesday of the month.  The men of the parish also provide service to the parish and support the fish fries.

Quilters

These ladies meet each Tuesday and provide quilts for the drawings that take place every other month.  The quilters also provide quilts for other raffles throughout the year.  This is the Ladies Club only fundraiser.

Senior Luncheon

This event is available to everyone 50 years and over on the second Tuesday of the month from 11:00AM – 1:00PM.  For just $3.00, a hearty and delicious lunch is served to everyone in attendance.  After lunch, bunco is played for 50 cents.  If you are able to help in the kitchen, you would be most welcome to come and assist with preparing the meal or with clean up.

Special Friends (Funeral Luncheons)

The purpose of this ministry is to help families in their time of grief on the day of the funeral by preparing a luncheon immediately following the funeral.  Those who can serve, men and women, are placed on a team and asked to furnish a food dish, no matter how simple.  There are currently six teams who rotate.  You are only called upon to help every few months.  If you work, arrangements can be made for you to drop off your dish before going to work.  If you are able to help serve the food or assist with clean, it would be nice, but it’s not required.  Call the parish office to volunteer.
