Fundraising

Bingo Workers

The BINGO teams operate and work the largest fund-raising operation for Holy Family School.  The Sunday and Tuesday BINGO games are held at the Former Knights of Columbus Hall in Granite City.  Without this support, the tuition at our school would have increased substantially over the years.

Fish Fries

Holy Family operates Fish Fries beginning with Ash Wednesday, then every Friday through and including Good Friday in Lent.  Profits benefit the church and school.  Volunteers prepare and serve the food in the Community Center and offer dining in as well as carry-outs.  They can always use more helping hands.

Trivia Night

Each year, our Trivia Night committee provides us an evening of fun and entertainment, as well as a great fund-raising event.  The Trivia is based on a theme that was picked by the committee.

Holy Family School Gala Dinner & Auction

The Gala Committee plans and hosts the Annual HFS Gala Dinner and Auction fundraiser for the parish school.  The evening includes a silent auction, live auction, dinner and fellowship.  Committee members plan the event, solicit donations and sponsorships, and decorate according to each year’s theme.  All are welcome to join this committee.

Chicken Dinner

Every fall the fryers are sizzling with fresh homemade fried chicken dressed up with all the fixings! This annual fall event, held Columbus Day weekend, is a parish and community favorite. Whether you dine in or carry out, the service is always met with a smile!

150 Club

Members pay $125.00 a year, which entitles them to 12 monthly drawings of $150.00.  If your number is drawn, it is re-entered and you are eligible for more drawings. At our Dinner/Dance in October, we draw seven more winners, one $1,000.00, two $500.00 and four $250.00.  In one year, you have nineteen chances to win.  All remaining money goes to the church.  The year of chances starts in November, please consider joining.  For more information, call Marie Gray, Diane McIntyre, Gert Petty, Linda Leleniewksi, Gloria Rains or Mary Wilkinson.
