October is National Respect Life month. We begin this month with the Annual Diocesan Respect Life Mass and Rosary Walk. At the end of the month, Holy Family Church will be taking part in the 40 Days for Life Campaign. Check out these two events, and make plans to take part in both!
Diocesan Respect Life Mass & Rosary Walk
All are welcome to attend the Annual Diocesan Respect Life Mass & Rosary Walk on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Granite City. Bishop Thomas John Paprocki will celebrate the Mass and then lead those in attendance in a Rosary Walk to the abortion facility in Granite City. Lunch will follow the walk at the Holy Family Community Center with guest speaker, Jerry Kapp, founder of Sidewalk for Hope. 40 Days for Life – October 25
Holy Family Church will be participating in the 40 Days for Life campaign on October 25, 2021. 40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day prayer vigil in front of abortion businesses. Holy Family will be praying in front of the Hope Abortion Facility in Granite City on Monday, October 25, 2021. There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church for those wishing to participate or call the parish office.
