Together in Christ,
we can do all things.
We, the Holy Family Parish, in imitation of Jesus as servant, pledge to unite in the Catholic tradition of spreading the gospel through prayer, education, spiritual development and social activities.
Together in Christ, we can do all things.
Our Leadership
Our current Pastor is Father Stephen Thompson of the Diocese of Springfield. He is advised by our Parish Pastoral Council, Finance Council, and School Board.
The Parish Council meets on a regular basis with the Pastor to discuss and advise him on the spiritual aspects of the parish life and worship. The purpose of the council is consultative to the Pastor on the spiritual life of the parish, to support him in his role as shepherd of the parish, to encourage full participation of parishioners in parish life, to help establish priorities, goals, and objectives for the parish, and to provide leadership and foster unity in the parish. The members of the pastoral council are appointed by the pastor in with consultation of current members of the council.
The Finance Council offers advice to the Pastor in the administration of parish goods. The diocesan statutes require that the finance council meet twice a year, mainly for the budget and Annual Financial Report to the parish. However, Holy Family’s Council meets at any other time as the need arises. We also have a School Finance Committee that works directly under, and through, the Holy Family Parish Finance Council.
The Holy Family School Board is appointed as an advisory group to the pastor for policy formation concerning the parish elementary school. All policies are in accordance with those of the Diocesan Board of Catholic Education.
