The purpose of this ministry is to help families in their time of grief on the day of the funeral by preparing a luncheon immedately following the funeral and burial.
Those who can serve are men or women who are able to prepare a food dish, no matter how simple. Each person is placed on a team, so there are usually 10 to 12 on a team. If you work, we'll make arrangements for you to drop your dish off before going to work. There are 15 teams at present, but some of the teams need members. Unless we have a run on funeral luncheons, you will be called about every 3-4 months to prepare a dish. Remember, if you are able to serve that day it would be nice, but that is not a requirement.
