This ministry was started at the request of Father Fisherkeller. He felt a need for a social activity for seniors during the day. We found some seniors who were unable to drive after dark and were depressed because of the cold weather which prevented them from doing their usual outdoor activities. After much discussion with seniors in our parish, it was decided taht a luncheon would be served on the second Tuesday of each month, with the playing of bunko. There are no rules or regulations. It makes it easy to attend. The cost of the luncheon is $1.50. The cost of bunko is $.50. These services are open to those 50 and over.
